I just want to clarify. Barack Obama is not a Muslim. I had, at one time, thought that he leaned toward Islam, but I was mistaken. Published December 8, 2007 Uncategorized Leave a CommentSo I’ve began to look through church positions as a starting place for Bry and I to find a place to settle down and serve. We have priorities that we think are important, although we have found out that some of the things we cherish, other people don’t put as high on their list. We’re mostly interested in trying to find one place that we could fix ourselves down (i.e. stay for a long time) and try to build deep bonds. We’ve found (in our short time alive) that many Bible-believing churches have pockets of deeply committed Christians while many in the church aren’t interested in being transformed by God’s Word at all. So one of our biggest goals is to settle down somewhere, try to be faithful in teaching, counseling, applying God’s Word and see what happens. We do feel confident that we have God’s life-giving word on our side affirming that it’s a good desire that is grounded in the Bible.
Anyway, here is a recent ad that Bryanna and I came across while we were looking for jobs.
